Taki Mam is a character in a graphic novel turned animation that I am slowly developing. Taki Mam is a warrior not by choice but because of time and circumstances that are uncontrollable. It just so happens that Taki is gender non conforming. While sexuality isn't the plot of the story its subtext allows for more conflict and for viewers to recognize societal odd behaviors with in the working of relationships on Taki's quest for truth, love and slaughter. Through confusion and anger Taki attempts balance in this complex life. Taki lives with honor and humor, flows with the water and plants roots in the earth and kills and brings to life. Taki most importantly uses science, astronomy and alchemy to implement whatever Taki believes in. Drama laughter complex story line and cool MMA nunchaku sword having females. Stay Tuned.

My Mommy is my Daddy is sure to be a family favorite. This simple narrative with compelling illustrations is a fun opportunity to discuss the variations of families, parenting, and gender. I am a multi faceted artist proficient in all digital computer arts, video and audio creation and editing, along with painting, poetry and animation. Accessing and utilizing both my male and female spirits expand my life by assisting me in creating varied innovative art.
Takeya Trayer was born in Harrisburg and raised in the small town next to the steel mill along the Susquehanna river. After the birth of my first child, Aziz, Taki was the impetus created by watching my child show so much freedom in drawing which inspired her to start drawing with her left hand. From Takeya's left hand a unique style was created and also a character that exemplified all the inner workings of my mind.
